Dave Grogan is a highly respected retired federal law enforcement executive, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and nationally recognized advocate for public integrity, emotional wellness, and community accountability. A proud graduate of Oxon Hill High School and Bowie State University, Dave began his public safety career as a college student, working with both the United States Secret Service and the United States Department of Justice / U.S. Marshals Service while still completing his degree.

Over a 25-year career with the Department of Justice (including 23 years in leadership), Dave supervised complex fugitive operations, judiciary protection missions, and national security assignments across multiple states. His distinguished service led his United States Senator to identify him as one of the top public safety officials in Maryland and formally recommend him to the White House for a presidential appointment.

After retiring in 2013, Dave continued his commitment to community impact. He served as Director of Security for the Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center—three blocks from the White House and later managed major federal and corporate security contracts nationwide, including TSA Headquarters, NIAID, the Center for Naval Analyses, and the Goodfellow Federal Center.

Dave is also a two-time political candidate (including for Prince George’s County Sheriff) and a respected voice for transparent government, senior protections, youth mentorship, and ethical leadership. He was twice appointed to the City of Bowie Education Committee and twice elected to the Bowie State University National Alumni Association Executive Board.

lifestyle wellness, and community healing into all public engagements. He is a daily gym goer, wellness researcher, and speaker on emotional intelligence, PTSD awareness, and men’s health.

Dave is the Managing Principal of Sacred Safety Consultants LLC, where he leads high-risk

contract stabilization, workforce reform, and organizational turnarounds—including the county- wide Operation Restart initiative for the Baltimore City DSS contract.

A proud father, mentor, and community leader, Dave builds his work around integrity, discipline, emotional accountability, and service to others. His forthcoming books—Echoes of Valor and Beware of the Ticking Time Bomb—focus on healing, leadership, and the emotional roots of conflict and violence.
